Abram Hoffer (b. 1917) is a Canadian psychiatrist known for his work in the development of biochemically based therapies based on the use of nutrition and vitamins in the treatment of schizophrenia — known as orthomolecular psychiatry.
This general approach, known as orthomolecular medicine, includes the use of megavitamins.
